Enterprise Fuel Transportation Progression.. Sucession?
Outgoing company Enterprise Fuel Transportation released information of selling out around early February of this year for a banging $53.2 million. As currently speculated in the agreement with buyers Houston-based Kirby Corporation, include transactions obtaining 21 tank barges and 15 towboats which delivers crude oils and gasoline around the southeastern premises of USA. Also deliveries are made to container vessels and freighters at ports ultimately in Florida; as well as to cruise ships and towboats. This agreement would have seemingly been speculated as a normal transaction in earlier times, but to those keen in this society, keep in mind gasoline prices charging rapidly higher and higher, up to $4.00 a gallon!!! Soaring higher than they’ve ever been!
Kirby Corporation agreed upon buying Enterprise Fuel Transportation to add new additions such as, four 2,800-horsepower tugboats, and three 30,000-barrel liquid transport barges that are double-hulled. Partnership’s fleet will be revamped to maintain rejuvenation of modern society; “keeping up with the Jones’” so to speak, which will unit 131 barges and 63 towboats. This transaction is to reckon in November of 2011. Living in history, early days of the 2000′s. Here we are wondering what to expect, and yet subsidiary Enterprise Marine Services LLC ally also affiliated in the agreement of sealing the deal with Kirby Co. In the event of selling this huge government annex, finding EMS selling out is an odd decision for such a large corporation. In part we are all wondering, why? “The divestiture of these assets will allow us to focus our efforts on the core areas of our marine services business that are more closely aligned with the partnership’s integrated value chain and support the partnership’s marketing activities, specifically the transportation of refined products, liquefied petroleum gas, crude oil and petrochemicals,” said president of Enterprise Marine Services LLC.- G.R. “Jerry” Cardillo.
As for today, prices are raising and seemingly time will never end this financial rage. People are only left wondering how will we do this? How can we do this? It’s not easy knowing that even EFT and EMS are selling out, dropping one more bombshell on the economy. Who else will sell out? Transportation Progression.. Succession? I think not.
